And of course the rolling means that diaper changes go something like this...
Put her on her back and undo the onesie while Jordan is trying to roll to her side.
Grab for the wipes... roll her back
Reach for a new diaper.... roll her back
Put dirty diaper in wet back... roll her back
Go wash hands and come back to...
a baby on her tummy!
I took that picture yesterday (Tuesday). Monday she turned over for the first time but it took a lot of work! Grandpa and I were cheering her on from the sidelines and she finally got that arm out of the way. Of course as soon as she was on her tummy she fell back to her side but it still counts! Then yesterday I was about to change her and left the room just to grab a onesie. I was back in seconds but that's all it took for our little Roly Poly to get on to her tum. This proud mama scrambled to find the camera like she always does.
Also, speaking of Grandpas and cameras. I captured this moment on Monday. Jordan was getting grumpy for a nap and my dad snuggled her just the right way to make her happy. Now if this picture doesn't melt your heart then I don't know what would.

Like I was saying before, Jordan is still spending a lot of time chewing on those chubby little hands. Whatever happens to get caught in her hands on the way to the mouth is collateral damage. Dresses have become a favorite thing to chew on and modesty is not an issue with this little lady!
Now last time I brought up Jordan's adorable little baby neck. I'm not sure what it is about baby necks but they have to be one of the cutest things ever. Maybe it's the view of the back of those tiny ears? Maybe it's because the neck look so tiny compared to the disproportionately large heads it is supporting? Don't worry if you feel the need to kiss your computer screen in a second. It's a completely natural response.

She's getting so big! I had a client that requested neck pictures at their 6 month session... They just loved her neck so much they wanted to remember it by a picture!
Love the baby neck photo. So cute!
Aww and the one with your dad!
